Our Leadership

Jesus Christ alone is the head of the Church (Eph 1:22-23). Therefore, the foundation of all decisions made for the congregation is based upon the New Testament scriptures. However, Jesus organized His church by placing leaders within each congregation who seek to guide the congregation according to His word (Eph 4:11-12). The congregation is overseen by Elders, or Pastors who have been given the responsibility of teaching, encouraging, and leading the congregation in following the example of Jesus (1 Pet 5:1-3). Deacons are in place to serve the physical needs of the congregation (Acts 6:1-6). Evangelists have been ordained to work with congregations in ordaining leadership and training members in how to accomplish the work of the church (Titus 1:5). Teachers in the congregation are men who have dedicated themselves to learning the Bible and learning how to effectively share that knowledge with others (Acts 13:1). The Elders take responsibility for overseeing what is being taught in the congregation. The men serving in these leadership roles are listed below.
